- Finding new homes for Orchids and Books
There are few things sadder than having to dispose of a cherished orchid collection following a bereavement or incapacitation. Unfortunately, it is something that often has to be done quickly if one is to avoid the deterioration or death of the plants. If you should find yourself in this predicament, please feel free to contact us. Although we cannot guarantee to re-home all plants, we shall certainly do our best to place as many as possible with knowledgeable orchid growers who can continue to care for them as the owner would have liked.
Similarly, over the years, orchid growers often accumulate a plethora of printed material such as books, vintage nursery catalogues, prints etc. Should you have difficulty in disposing of these and would like to donate them, we would be delighted to add them to the Orchid Study Group’s library as a research resource.
